McKee parent council is excited to be launching a Valentine's fundraiser.  Your child(ren) will have brought home two flyers featuring some fun products that you can buy as gifts.  A portion of the sales will go towards the various programs and plans sponsored by the SAC that enhance your child's school experience.  Please make sure you get your order forms and cheques payable to McKee School Council in by February 1.

To better organize this site, the "Minutes" and "Newsletters" have been moved and can now be accessed through the "Information" page pull-down menu.  In an effort to improve these webpages, changes (hopefully for the better) will be made from time to time to the set-up.  You will be notified via the blog.

Premier Dalton McGuinty made the official site announcements this morning.  As expected McKee P.S. is not on the list of approved sites.  For the full list see pdf file below.

Happy New Year to everyone.  We hope that you have had a restful
holiday and are looking forward to seeing you all at this month's
SAC meeting.

On the agenda:
We will be making a decision on changing banks.  There will be a fundraising
report.  As you all know, in addition to helping to fund some extra
programs at the school, the SAC is working towards raising enough
funds to complete the plans for revitalizing the school grounds.
Plans for the major fundraiser for this project is the FunFair coming
up in summer.  Please join us in making this Fair a success by
bringing your ideas and volunteering to help out.

To keep you up to date on what decisions/discussions have been previously made
you can find the minutes for the previous meetings under the Newsletter heading.

There will be simultaneous sessions to explain Special Education Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Identification, Placement and Review Committees (IPRCs) at 140 Borough Drive in Scarborough (Committee Rooms 1 and 2, 1st Floor) and at 1 Civic Centre Court in Etobicoke (Boardroom, 2nd Floor) on January 19th from 7 to 9 p.m.  Registration is not required, but if you need an interpreter, please contact 416-396-9039 or 416-396-9003 for the Scarborough meeting, and 416-394-7406 or 416-394-7413 for the Etobicoke meeting.
